Every band Mark worked with sang better as a result of his being in the band. I worked with Mark in the Maroons, the Vacations, the Shadows of Knight and the New Colony Six. From the first song at Mark's first Colony rehearsal, our vocal harmonies gelled like never before. If I were addressing a crowd of fellow musicians, I'm sure I'd see a lot of heads nodding and faces smiling in remembrance of his unique ability not just to find the perfect part for him to sing, but everyone else's part, too.
