The Willies were playing and Mark was filling in for a departed guitar player. He took one look at the song list and (very good naturedly) demanded a rewrite. Why? Because "Flo's going to be late and all her favorites are in the first set!" Of course, we agreed. It was a small thing maybe, but there was a genuine affection in it that you couldn't help notice. I've always admired Mark for the way he played, that was something I admired about the way he lived. Sam Mulvey
